Trail through the Northumberland National Park to witness a clear night sky from the amazing viewpoints, Dove crag and Criss-Cross Rock. This simple one loop course is not so simple in the dark, especially with the rumoured Duergars lurking around. Bring a torch, be alert and run to the finish.

Great run, tough at times with small paths but would do it again. Would love to see that area in the day time

My First Night Time Trail Run and thoroughly enjoyed it. Found the downhills tougher than the uphills, certainly scarier at one point. Fell over 4 times but bruising has now healed LOL. Very well organised and a friendly run. Looking forward to next years run, will make sure I adjust my headlight better to reduce falls and maybe protect my knees better. 25th place wasn't bad for my 58th birthday.

Second year I've done this run and it was thankfully warmer and less icy than last year. Not that it would have put me off. By no means an easy course, but absolutely brilliant in atmosphere. Hugely varied terrain, downhills as mad as the up, and a fantastic experience all round.Just make sure you've done a few headtorch trail runs first. And don't expect to run the whole thing. Or be worried about falling over.

What a great event. Phenomenal course, organisation, and atmosphere. Pretty unique event. I'll be back.

This is the second year I've done this race & it's definitely one of my favourites. It has everything a trail runner could ask for, track, trail, steps, elevation, steep descent, forest tracks & more. Superbly organised by the Cold Brew team, well marked route with reflective markers (It was pitch black in places)My only complaint would be it isn't long enough !
