Fast and pretty much flat course along the promenade. Windy - to be expected as we’re on the sea front - and bracing but a lovely little race.

As usual a well run event, only niggle is slow runners starting at the front so when the course narrows its hard to pass

Event is held on a proven Parkrun route and is perfect for event and plenty of room to grow, parking is good and close also other local facilities are within easy reach, lastly there is plenty of room off the course for spectators and even expand with a Christmas Fayre

I want told where the start was as there was a start line at the lower promenade but it wasn't that start line but other then that was an excellent course

A well organised, fun 5 k which can be run for fun or competitively. The course is reasonably flat (apart from one short uphill slope) and fast unless its windy as the cliffs are very exposed. Its two laps and you run along the top of the cliffs and lower prom. Same course as Parkrun, so you can have a warm up run on a Saturday to familiarise yourself.
