Eastbourne Golden Mile:
This accurately measured, point-to-point race along the Eastbourne seafront is the perfect opportunity to unleash your speed and clock in a new Mile PB. With no turnaround point, runners can go flat out along the completely fast course.
5K:
If you still have energy left over, why not also participate in the 5K. Also set along the seafront, this 5K is an out and back flat course that is suitable for runners of all speeds starting and finishing at the Eastbourne Band Stand.

Parking:
The race headquarters will be at Eastbourne Bandstand. Parking is available along the seafront and in designated car parks within the town centre, but please take note of any parking restrictions or charges that may be in force.
Train:
For those wishing to arrive by train, the bandstand is approximately a 15 minute walk from Eastbourne railway station.

Did the race in 2019
There was no electronic start time. I started right at the back and before I got to the start line, most runners were a long way in front.
