Enjoy the thrill of riding a sportive without all the hills getting in the way. Great for riders of all abilities, the course is pan flat and takes participants along some stunningly beautiful roads. Come to try for a PB or to enjoy riding in the summer sun.

The Long Route starts in Peterborough and then heads north east through Thorney and onto Holbeach St Johns where there is a tea and biscuit stop. Riders will then head towards the Wash National Nature Reserve before looping back through Holbeach St Marks and into Holbeach. The route then winds through Weston and Pode Hole and then arrives in Weston Hills for a feed stop. Riders will then complete the home stretch back to Peterborough.

The Medium Route follows the Long Route up to the tea and biscuit stop. Instead of heading out to the Nature Reserve, the route cuts North through Gedney and then loops round to the feed stop at Weston Hills where it meets up with the Long Route once again. Riders will then ride triumphant southwards into Peterborough.

The Short Route heads through Thorney and the onto to just south of Crowland. From hear riders will loop round and head south towards Peterborough, passing to the east of Parnwell.

Organizer leaderboard ranking badge

Sportive HQ are ranked #2 in the UK out of 266 organizers

Sportive HQ was formed by Matthew Porter in 2014, after having approximately 10 years experience in the organisation of various types of cycling events. It was very much the feeling that sportives were becoming more expensive over the last few years and that need not be the case, value for money can be put alongside quality events. Sportive HQ works alongside local clubs to produce events that riders will want to do every year. We listen to what riders want from an event and endeavour to meet those requests. At Sportive HQ we like to keep things simple, ample free parking, showers, changing rooms, a timed event with well spaced, well stocked feed stations and routes to challenge everyone of all abilities. Sportive HQ helps in the production of many local charity events and have helped raise, alongside local clubs, in excess of £50,000 for local charities over the last few years.

Well organised event. Probably the cheapest 100 miler around but quality is amazing. Great atmosphere, great signage, GREAT FOOD STATIONS 😊. Would recommend this ride to any rider at any level. It was my partners first 100 miler and she loved it.

An absolute superb flat event that i was more than skeptical about in relation to the claim of such a flat course. To be fair, only 72 meters over 62 miles is somewhat of an achievement to keep so low.

The roads selected were so quiet and flat with while not amazing views, it certainly was picturesque all the way round the course and one i certainly plan on putting in the diary again next year.

Well done to all the Sportive HQ team, a really well run and carefully chosen roads event that more people need to give a go at.

    Well done

Great route organised by the team at Sportive HQ. The route is flat and the only part that held you up was going through Spalding. Great feed stops with plenty of choice.

As a Sportive HQ regular I have to say the route, the signage, the support and the feed stations are all spot on
