The weather conditions on the day were challenging, that is what a coastal course can give you. This is my first Covid-19 race, the race organisers and marshalls did a very good job on the day. Thank you. Runners also respected the officials and social distancing measures.M

The half marathon was very well organised; and the marshals were plentiful, most helpful and encouraging.M

The organisation was excellent, particularly the arrangements for the start. The course was well marked, and the marshals were outstandingly cheerful and supportive. Given the weather conditions, the event was most enjoyable.A

Due to Covid, this was not run at its normal time of year and had staggered start times - so not the normal mass event in sunshine. However the organisers were out in force and hats off to the many helpful marshalls all around the course standing in the wind and rain. All helpful and cheerful despite the extra long day due to the staggered starts. Well organised and run.I

Considering the atrocious weather the marshalling was brilliant. The COVID-19 protocols were carried out thoroughly and professionally. Roll on Bedgebury in early November!J

Just wanted to thank everybody who helped organise the race on Sunday. It was the under challenging circumstances but absolutely safe with not a hint of any issues. Really enjoyable course along the seaside, until you get to the big hill towards the end. Will be back again next year, fingers crossed for a more "normal" race!N

This was my first half marathon and I absolutely loved it ! Weather was a stinker as it never stopped raining and the winds were so strong. I was really impressed with the cheerful volunteers and organisation of the event. Would have loved to get the medal immediately after the race but thanks Covid-19 ! Over all the course is really good which is mainly flat and no public interference. Atmosphere was quiet because of the bad weather but I was very happy with the way Nice Work has organised this event especially during Covid time. Would recommend this for beginners and people who want to record their PB !R

It was fantastic to get racing again, and thanks to the great course, solid organisation and helpful volunteers I smashed a PB out of it, despite the dreadful weather. It serves as a reminder that it is still possible to organise an event like this in these difficult times thanks to the dedication of everyone involved.Did the Half Marathon in 2020
Very well organised. Felt it was a safer environment than my local supermarkets in these difficult times. Iv done a couple of virtual half marathons during the pandemic but was nice to have other runners and words of encouragement on the way round. Will definitely be doing another event. My wife is in the high risk category so I would not run if I didn't think it's safe. 10 out of 10 in these difficult times.M
