Get in the Christmas spirit with this race through the forest. Great for those looking for one last race this year, the course winds its way along the paths and trails around Beechenhurst in the Forest of Dean. Come for the finisher's medal or for the festive goodies.

Did the 5 Mile in 2019
Great course, started with a challenging hill and there were several more to follow. Good mix of muddy track and cycle paths. Majority of runners in Christmas themed outfits which added to the festive atmosphere Lots of non runners using the same route. All v friendly..Will be back in 2020!… read more

Route description
Route description

The course is one lap of the paths and trails around Beechenhurst in the Forest of Dean. The course will be on mixed terrain and may be muddy in spots.

Runners are reminded to be aware of other users of the paths, as the race does not have exclusive access.

Logistics and schedule

The race begins at 10:00

Please ensure that you arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race in order to drop your bag and complete the registration process.

Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer, there are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up. Volunteers are offered free entry to a future Nice Work race and, in some cases, expenses are available. If interested, please contact: [email protected]
