Route information
The event itself covers approximately 65km over some of the roughest moorland in Britain and takes its name from the Four Inns along its route; the Isle of Skye (site of), the Snake Pass Inn, the Nags Head and the Cat and Fiddle.
A shorter route - the 35k, has been introduced to encourage 14-18 year old members only, to take part in. A very different sort of Explorer Scout challenge, please encourage your younger members to take part. Same great support and great range of Trophies to compete for.

Spectator Info
Problems have arisen in the past with supporters’ vehicles blocking the car parks at the Checkpoints situated at The Snake Pass Inn and the Cat & Fiddle. We do rely on the generosity of the landlords and owners for the use of their buildings. Chapel H Q is used as the distribution centre for food and equipment, please advise your supporters not to block access and do not park at the Scout H Q Car Park at any time.
