Route information
Anticlockwise – April
- The Ultra and first leg of the relay will start at Godalming United Church.
- The Marathon and second leg of the relay will start at Clandon Train Station.
- The Half Marathon and final leg of the relay will start at The Jolly Farmer in Worplesdon.
These races run through Guildford's beautifully green Fox Way. At this great distance, runners get to soak in the ambience from a number of Guildford's towns, including Godalming, Shere, Clandon, Ripley, Worplesdon and Puttenham.
While each distance begins in different locations, all runners conclude their journey in the same place at Godalming United Church. Reaching the finish line with runners of all distances means that everyone can celebrate their triumphs together.

By Train
Godalming train station is just a five-minute walk away from the Ultra Marathon start location.
Parking
There is no parking available at the Marathon and Half Marathon locations. It is advised to use Parkopedia to find parking that is relatively near and then walk to the start line.
Event day logistics
Online entry for the 2nd April event has now closed. Entry on the day will be available, subject to a £5 surcharge. Payment will be accepted by card only; further information can be found here.

Age Requirements
Entrants must be the following ages to enter each distance:
- Half Marathon - 17 and older
- Marathon - 18 and older
- Ultra - 20 and older

Finish Line
The finish line is the same for all races, which is Godalming United Church.
Race Pack
Your race pack, which includes your bib number and timing chip must be collected on the day of the event prior to the race start time. You will not receive your race pack in the mail. Please arrive before your race start time in order to collect these essentials.
Headphones
Noise-cancelling earphones/headphones are prohibited from this event. Headphones/earphones are not prohibited but are strongly discouraged as runners must be vigilant throughout this course due to its open-to-the-public location.
If headphones are to be worn, AAT Events asks that participants have them at a low enough volume so as to hear important instructions from marshals, or to hear bells in the presence of cyclists. Please note that AAT Events have the right to disqualify any runners who cannot hear instructions as a result of their use.
Water & Aid Stations
Water and aid stations will be stationed throughout the route, approximately every 10k (5 in total). Such stations will be stocked with water, energy drinks and high energy snacks.
Toilets & Sanitisation Stations
Two portaloo toilets will be available at each water & aid station.
Refreshments
Refreshments are expected to be available from local vendors at the finish line.

Where are the second and third legs of the The Fox Ultra relay stationed?
The second leg of The Fox Ultra relay is the same start location as the Marathon race (St. Marys Church, Perry Hill, Worplesdon, GUILDFORD. GU3 3RE). The third leg of The Fox Ultra relay is same as the start location as the Half Marathon race (Clandon Train Station, West Clandon, GUILDFORD. GU4 7TN).
How and when can I find out my race time for The Fox Ultra 2022?
Results will be posted on the AAT Events website and communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.
Can I run with my dog on The Fox Ultra Ultra, Marathon and Half Marathon?
No, you may not run with a personally owned or controlled dog. Allowances may be made for participants with medical assistance dogs; however, this must first be approved by the Event Director.
