We loved every minute - I had done the 60k previously and that was already a favourite, and the marathon didn't let us down. The folk and food at the checkpoints make ALL the difference in any race and the Foxy gang were the very best. Thank you!

It was good the way that the course picked out lots of trails and tracks so the road running was limited.

Absolutely fabulous race. Course was challenging yet lots of great scenery. Very well marshalled and signposted (even with my legendary lack of attention did I get even nearly lost), always good to have a GPX file too. Race crew were amazing, couldn’t do enough to help. Quality briefing and good race HQ.No moans about the event at all, loved it and will definitely be back. If I there are any negatives (and this is very subjective) I wasn’t overly impressed with the wooden medal, whilst I appreciate the environmental impact I still love some nice bling. On the flip side would much prefer a buff to a T-shirt as I actually use them.

There weren’t any water/aid stops on the way - fortunately I had drink/gel with me but others didn’t.
