Starting and Finishing at Fyfield Village Hall, both routes take in the beautiful Essex Countryside. Along the way there are lots of friendly marshals to cheer you on.

5k

The 5k route heads out along the Roding Valley, with a range of footpaths on surfaces such as fields and meadows, as well as an ancient byway. The route does not cross any roads and is free from traffic, there is a short section on a pavement alongside a road. Elevation change is less than 50m uphill.

10k

The 10k route extends the 5k route, following a network of private roads, footpaths and byways in a gentle uphill gradient toward the Second World War Airfield, offering stunning views across the landscape before a descent back towards Fyfield. The 10k route includes a water stop at 6k. The route has limited traffic on the private roads, with large amounts on footpaths. and again has a small section on pavement. Elevation change is about 110m uphill.
