Route information
All routes start at the industrial heritage museum at Amberley and make great use of the local bridleways in the form of the Monarch's Way and the South Downs Way.
With a varied terrain on each route including vehicle width farm tracks and some narrower flowing single trail tracks, one minute you'll be hauling yourself upwards and the next racing down to the base of the hills.
The gravel adventure will take you back to Amberley through the market town of Arundel, rolling past the medieval Arundel Castle at the top of the hill.
The route is challenging in sections, but nothing each rider can't handle if taken nice and steadily.
Long Route: 79km and 1585m elevation
Middle Route: 62km and 1144m elevation
Short Route: 29km and 555m elevation
Rook Route: 13km and 255m elevation
Cut-Off Time: The Long Route cut-off is 15:30
