About this event

This is a really great friendly 10k from one of the best event organisers in London. The park is beautiful and it has genuinely stunning views. It's not a PB course as there are some decent hills but they make the run all the more enjoyable and allow you to enjoy the views rather than focussing too much on the clock. This is what the organiser has to say: Run a 10K in the famous Royal Park that overlooks the River Thames and is home to one of London’s most iconic views. With it's spectacular tree-lined avenues, gardens and super-smooth pathways, you'll find yourself captivated by the sights around you as you fly downhill and conquer the climb. Always attracting a range of runners, you'll find yourself amongst runners of a similar pace to help drive you to a brilliant race result and an unbeatable finish line feeling. With a unique souvenir medal and a goody bag to help get yourself refuelled and replenished, you won't find a better value race experience in a London Royal Park. Plus, you'll find loads of great places to eat and drink within walking distance of the finish line and get to stand on the the Prime Meridian, the reference point for the rest of the world! Forget any old boring 10K - get yourself entered into this Greenwich Park 10K for a run to remember.

The Race Organiser creates outstanding opportunities for people to bring out their best run, swim or cycle performance.

We seek out the most inspiring and rewarding locations, develop race routes and event formats, and create a brilliant atmosphere and race day experience – offered at the best possible value. We don’t think it’s ok to ask people who are aspiring to do amazing things to pay huge sums of money, so we charge as little as we can afford, rather than as much as we can get away with.

Very well organised with bag drop, toilets and pleasant cafe close to start/finish. Organisers were friendly and helpful.. I had entered the 10K but was carrying an injury so transferred to the 5K with no fuss or bother. One challenging hill for the 5K but otherwise flat. My husband who ran the 10K had to do it twice! As we are not local we spent the rest of the day visiting the Greenwich Observatory and Maritime Museum which all in all meant a really enjoyable day out.… read more

I'm new to running really (only my 3rd 10km ever) but have to say it stood out as a really good one! The course was good, though will admit a teeny bit confusing (only because I was of the slower people, so there wasn't often a lot of us around to follow, and it did wind and turn a bit!). The marshals were fantastic though! Probably the friendliest and most helpful ones I've come across in any type of race. And a great atmosphere! I was there on my own, and had a few runners greet and chat to me before and afterwards! Overall a very good experience!

A great challenging race, the volunteers as always were amazing. I love using this race as hill challenge, Greenwich definitely has them! We need more people doing this race to improve the atmosphere!

I enjoyed it, but the stewards took signs down too early, and some were unclear or turned round wrongly
