Based on the traditional Gurkha Recruitment Doko race, this challenge sees a 5km run carrying a traditional Doko basket weighing either 5kg, 10kg or 15kg with a time to beat of 46 minutes

No, water will be available to participants at the finish line. Please come to the race hydrated and bring any drinks or foods you will need for pre, during and post-challenge.

FAQs
Is there an age limit for taking part?
All entrants must be 18 years plus on the day of the event to be able to take part.I am a wheelchair user or have specific access requirements,
can I take part?
Unfortunately, due to the arduous terrain, the Gurkha Doko Challenge is not suitable for wheelchair participants.
What will my race pack contain?
Running number and a timing chip. Race information will be sent via email and downloadable from the event website 4 weeks prior to the event.
When will I receive my official time?
At the end of the race, you will be able to check your race time immediately and all finish times can be checked online after the event.
Is there a baggage drop facility?
Yes, there will be a baggage drop tent available for participants if necessary. Although the baggage area will be manned throughout the day, the event staff cannot take any responsibility for your belongings. Please bring minimal kit to the site.
