How did it go?
From the organizerOrganizer's website
The Hastings Runners 5 Mile offers a fast and flat course along the scenic seafront of Hastings. The race is held in memory of former member Keith Chandler who joined Hastings Runners in the early 90's and remained a member until his death in 2005. All proceeds from the race are donated to St Michael's Hospice.
Since it's inception to the running calendar in 2006, the race has gone from strength to strength and now attracts many quality runners from all over the South East as shown by it's steadily falling course records. The course being pancake flat offers the more experienced runners the chance for a personal best or the perfect race for those new to running or looking at completing their first 5-mile race.
The race starts outside the historic Town Hall in the centre of Hastings adjacent to Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, whose generous sponsorship helps to stage the race.
There are medals on offer to all finishers plus complimentary massage and chiropody available.
