This sportive was our first and weve branched out a lot since then, but this ride will always be special to us. This year weve done a lot of work tweaking the route. This ride reflects that and its 7th birthday should make for the most enjoyable Hertfordshire 100 yet.

Course Details
The route heads out from Brookmans Park through Brickendon with rolling countryside roads that allow you to get warmed up before hitting some undulating hills that really will get you warmed up! At Dane End the long route splits east towards Bishops Stortford to take in more rolling countryside roads around Much Hadam and then heads north and back west to rejoin the medium route after a 40 mile loop. The route continues west towards Welwyn Garden City through little picturesque villages such as Ardeley and Weston before heading south back towards Tewin. All routes finish through the short sharp hills of ‘Little Switzerland’ with 6 miles left to ride, which is the sting in the tail of this unforgettable ride. Riders will be pleased to see the finish after these punishing hills, and will feel great once they settle down to some refreshment at the end.

The HQ is minutes away from the M25 Junction 24 or for those on Public Transport Potters Bar station is very close with regular trains from London.

FAQs
We do our best to try and make sure your ride on the road runs as smoothly as possible by marking the roads clearly. If you find you have not seen a marker for a while, stop and consult your map, ask someone, or find a landmark and give us a call using the number provided on the day.

Once you complete the ride, make sure you report back to one of our team at the finish line and we’ll make sure your time is recorded. If you do not report back, you may be presumed lost and emergency services may be called.
