The Kamikaze Adventure run first started way back in 2008 when 500 brave souls descending the super steep hills of Dorset straight into the bog of doom. Many lost there running shoes, some made it to the finish, all had a great time! Due to popular demand, the event is back! So don't fear as once again you can throw your self down steep hills, wallow in deep mud and enjoy the heart-pounding, leg aching event. The classic adventure run see's the kamikaze runners charge down a smoke-filled hillside on to a course littered with obstacles including river runs, hill climbs, bogs, slides, and rope swings. Complete 1 or 2 laps as a team of 3 or as a solo entry. Compete to win the coveted kamikaze prize. Votwo events are have handed the reigns of this infamous event over to Unbeaten Events who are sure to continue the great work.

Route information
Choose one or two laps. Each lap is approx 6km long and routed over the harshest terrain and will see Kamikaze runners tackle such obstacles as:
Snakes wedding. An entanglement of ropes.
Bog Crossing. Only the deepest dankist bog will do. make sure you keep both hands on the safety rope at all times.
Kamikaze Slide. Soap up and slide. Feet first only, please.
Rope Climb. Hills so steep and slippery the only way up is by rope.
River Run. Wet feet = happy feet…..
On completion of your lap(s) head down the finish straight and overcome:
Japanese bunk beds. A huge tower with zig zagging slots to crawl up
Barbed wire crawl. Keep that bum low!
Net climb. Large net to get your self over. 3 points of contact at all times.
Grease wall. get up and over any way you can. You may require the help of several others.
Pyramids. Modeled on Japans famous pyramids…a series of ever larger triangles to hurdle over.
Rope Swing. Swing across the pit of smoke.
This is a roughty toughty event. The course is on undulating and rough terrain and the obstacles require some common sense and ability. Make sure you read and agree to the terms and conditions of the event before entering.
What's included
Registration will be open from 07:00-09:30 in the event village. Here we will register you for the day and you will receive your headband which you must wear at all times on the event so all staff and volunteers know you are registered on the event.
After you register you will receive a confirmation email to confirm your payment and your place. You will then receive your Kamikaze Manual with all your event details in by email 2 weeks before the event date.
What’s Included In Registration Fee
Your course pack will be sent to you two weeks before the event via email with all the details and timings for the day. Once you arrive at the event you will receive a Kamikaze Bandana and on completion you will receive a medal, a Kamikaze T-shirt and a bottle of water.

Get full directionsThe Kamikaze car park is free! It will be open from 07:30 and will be clearly signposted with marshals to help on site.
Both the One Lap Wonder and Full Course Banzai distances are open to teams of 3. You must stay together as a team of 3 at all times. Time stops when all 3 team members are over the line.

FAQs
Can I skip obstacles?
Participating in the Kamikaze Run is about getting fit, having fun, team building and getting muddy. This said you can skip an obstacle if needed but at the end of the run you will have a sense of accomplishment if you have completed all the obstacles and pushed your comfort zone.
Will I get a medal?
Yes! Every Kamikaze will get a Kamikaze medal on completion of this awesome challenge.
Is it a race and is it timed?
All participants will receive a finisher’s time.Teams will receive one time per team, and the clock is stopped once the WHOLE team crosses the finish line, so teamwork is a must!
Will there be showers at the event?
There will be opportunity to hose down at the end and separate male and female changing areas to get changed out of those muddy clothes!
What medical care is available at the kamikaze run events?
There are qualified medics on standby around the course for any injuries that may occur whilst taking part and a med-care tent at the start/finish. Any medical conditions should be flagged up before hand and stated on the registration form when you place your order.
Do I need to be able to swim to do the course?
There is water involved in the Kamikaze Run. There will be clear instruction in the course package as to what each obstacle requires and marshals on the course for any help needed on the day. This said for safety reasons you need to know how to swim.
3Does kamikaze have any electrical obstacles?
The Kamikaze will not involve any electrical obstacles as the course should be punishing enough.
