The Leicester City 5k Summer Series - Race 2 route

The Leicester City 5K course is a two lap route covering the paths within the boundaries of the beautiful Victoria Park.

The course is generally flat with only one gentle incline to contend with.

The route will be clearly marked using large route arrows and directional cones, as well as being marshalled throughout.

Runners are reminded that the event does not have exclusive use of the park and to be aware of other park users.

Raceday Logistics

The race will begin at 19:30.

Please ensure that you arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race in order to drop your bag and warm up.

Spectators

Spectators are more than welcome and should get a good view of the runners, given the lapped nature of the course.

Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer, there are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up. Volunteers are offered free entry to a future Nice Work race and, in some cases, expenses are available. If interested, please contact: [email protected]

Your timing chip is incorporated into your race number and should not be removed. Please place the race number on the front of your vest/shirt and not on your leg or back.
