Event summary

The London to Brighton Challenge will be in its 8th year in 2019. Over 2,500 adventurers of all experience levels and ages will take on this classic Capital to Coast route, testing their grit and determination - and all out to push themselves further. Most will Walk, but many will Jog or Run the full 100km, and with half & quarter distance options also there's a challenge here for everyone.

Route description

The original Ultra Challenge - a classic Capital to Coast route that's 66% off road. Richmond start, then along the Thames Path and on to the North Downs through beautiful Surrey and Sussex countryside - with a half way stop at Turners Hill. The steep climb up and over the South Downs finally unveils the Brighton coastline - with the welcome finish line & celebration at the racecourse not far off!

Parking
• Day parking - Oaks Park (25km), Tulleys Farm (56km) &
Brighton (100km) - £3 per car per site - cash on the day (no
need to pre book)
• Brighton weekend parking (from Friday 6pm) - £5 per car
Full Challengers
• Start - close to Richmond station (Pay & Display)
• Brighton - weekend parking (from Friday 6pm) - £5 per car
• Shuttles to Brighton station after
• Shuttles for all retirees to finish (36km onwards)
1st Half Challengers
• Start - close to Richmond station (Pay & Display)
• Pick up parking at finish
• Shuttles from finish to Three Bridges
• Shuttles for all retirees to finish (36km onwards)
2nd Half Challengers
• Parking at Tulleys Farm
• Pick up/ drop off parking at start and finish
• Before Challenge - Sunday morning transfer from Brighton
finish to Tulleys Farm start - £20 per person
• Shuttle buses for all retirees to finish (36km onwards)
• Finish shuttle to Brighton station
1st Quarter Challengers
• Start - close to Richmond station (Pay & Display)
