Itinerary:
Day 1 - London - Portsmouth/Caen
Meet early in the morning in London for a pre-race briefing and then set off through the beautiful autumnal landscapes of southern England, stopping for lunch in a picturesque village, before finishing the day's cycling in Portsmouth. Once in Portsmouth board an overnight ferry to Caen, the resting place of William the Conqueror.
Day 2 - Caen - Évreux
After waking up on the ferry, hop onto the European mainland for a full day of cycling through Norman cider country. Travel east through rolling French countryside, with another beautiful lunch stop in a rural commune, before arriving in the cathedral town of Évreux. This evening is free, a perfect opportunity to explore this historic centre of learning and culture.
Day 3 - Évreux - Paris
The home strait of the trip, pedal through the beautiful country of Bas Normandie and the Île-de-France towards the City of Light. After a lunch stop in another tranquil village, Paris is in sight. Once in Paris proper, take in the sights from your saddle before reaching the finish line on the Champ de Mars, below the Eiffel Tower.
Day 4 - Paris
This final morning is free for all riders to explore Paris, before transferring to the Gare de Nord to hop on the Eurostar back to Saint Pancras.

How to get there

Car: Central London is not easily accessible by car, and a congestion charge as well as ULEZ Charge zones are in force. Using public transport as much as possible is highly recommended.
Train: London has several major train stations served by trains from across the United Kingdom, as well as France and Belgium. Participants will arrive in Saint Pancras International on day 4 and can make use of TfL as well as National Rail services to various destinations across Britain from there.

Packets will be sent to participants prior to the meeting time.
All participants will pay an initial deposit of £149, before either self-funding the full £899 cost or raising a minimum of £1,800 for a charity of their choice.
