The London to Paris Bike Ride 2020 route

Day 1 - London - Portsmouth/Caen

Meet early in the morning in London for a pre-race briefing and then set off through the beautiful autumnal landscapes of southern England, stopping for lunch in a picturesque village, before finishing the day's cycling in Portsmouth. Once in Portsmouth board an overnight ferry to Caen, the resting place of William the Conqueror.

Day 2 - Caen - Évreux

After waking up on the ferry, hop onto the European mainland for a full day of cycling through Norman cider country. Travel east through rolling French countryside, with another beautiful lunch stop in a rural commune, before arriving in the cathedral town of Évreux. This evening is free, a perfect opportunity to explore this historic centre of learning and culture.

Day 3 - Évreux - Paris

The home strait of the trip, pedal through the beautiful country of Bas Normandie and the Île-de-France towards the City of Light. After a lunch stop in another tranquil village, Paris is in sight. Once in Paris proper, take in the sights from your saddle before reaching the finish line on the Champ de Mars, below the Eiffel Tower.

Day 4 - Paris

This final morning is free for all riders to explore Paris, before transferring to the Gare de Nord to hop on the Eurostar back to Saint Pancras.
