Facilities
There is a changing room at the event site including showers and lockers.
Event Rules
Diving is not allowed at the event.
Participants can swim in either front crawl or breaststroke. If they are struggling to complete the course they should inform a kayak marshall by turning onto their backs and raising an arm. Marshalls can then rescue them.
Results
All results will be chip-timed and posted to the results base website after the event.
Race Packs
Participants will receive race packs that include a discount code.
Refunds
Please note that there are no refunds if you cancel within the week leading up to race day.

really appreciated everyone waiting for me to come in last having breast stroked the whole thing
I found the team really approachable, friendly and helpful. Set up with no drama and were really proactive in drawing in the debris boom to create a clear course
It was relaxed and in a lovely venue. The course was well marked and I felt safe with the canoe patrol.
The main buoys had fallen over and made it very difficult to see. I appreciate this probably was out of your control but it did mean several people drifted about.
Being our first event we assumed the same rules as FINA would apply so didn’t bring wetsuits. More info on what to bring would be good. We also had issues with weeds scraping legs.
Great event. Loved that the mass start started on land so that I didn’t get cold waiting in the water for the start

Really good venue fab swim great organisation
If was great to have a local OW swim event, and great for Triathlon training.Hopefully more people next time!
