Route information
This route takes runners along the wooded trails of the Pilgrims Way, before climbing up to join the North Downs Way. Then, enjoy the sights of the Wealdway trail and head back towards the event village.
The route is made of many beautiful woodlands and rolling hills, giving runners both a challenge and an atmospheric outdoor experience.

The bus transfer option for pickup and drop of at Meopham Train Station is now full for all those who have pre-booked a space.
By Car
There will be free parking available at the venue. It is recommended by the event organiser to car share where possible, to allow enough car park spaces for everyone.
By Train
The nearest train station is either Meopham station or Borough Green & Wrotham station, which are a 10 minute drive away. Those travelling from London can ride the Southern railway from London Victoria to Meopham or Borough Green & Wrotham.

Maverick Race is making every effort to make this season 100% plastic-free. For this reason, there will be no plastic cups at this event, so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle with them to refill at the stations located on route.

Maverick Race
Maverick Race is undoubtedly one of the best trail running organisers in the UK. The company was started down on the Jurassic Coast back in 2013 by Ben and Justin. Since then they’ve delivered events which are guaranteed to take you to some of the most scenic locations in the UK. However, what really separates Maverick is their strive for inclusivity in the outdoors. From 6km entry level runs to 50km ultra marathons, there really is something for everyone. Afterwards you’ll find everyone hanging around, enjoying some fresh pizza, and speaking to like minded people with a shared passion for trail running.

It is strongly encouraged to invite friends and family along to spectate the race, as supporters are integral in creating an amazing race-day atmosphere.
Supporters will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area and take in the breath-taking landscape for themselves.

I can no longer make the Maverick Adidas Terrex Original Kent event, can I transfer my place to another event?
If for any reason you wish to transfer out from an event Maverick are happy to do this, but once only. However, they cannot action any transfers for an event that has sold out.
The last day to transfer out of an event is the Monday before event day (5 days before the event), please email Maverick Race on info@maverick-race.com with the name of the event you would like to move to. Maverick are not able to move you out of an event if you contact them after this day.
You may transfer to any event listed on our website or even change to a higher value event and pay the difference.
Is my race number for the Maverick Adidas Terrex Original Kent event posted to me?
No, Maverick Race will not post anything prior to the event. Your race number will be waiting for you to collect from the Registration area on the morning of the event.
I’m aged 15 or below, can I run the Maverick Adidas Terrex Original Kent event on my own?
Unfortunately Maverick do not have separate races for younger runners, all ages and genders run together. All runners under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. An adult must sign up to the event and then they can add a ‘Junior entry’ for free.
