Terrain Technical trails
Elevation Hilly, some long steep climbs and descents
Set in the home of Maverick Race, this trail event will not disappoint. All routes start just outside the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, where you’ll then run steadily across marshland gradually making your way towards the coast. The Ultra and Long routes will take you right down to the tip of the Purbecks at St. Aldhelm’s Head before heading on a 20km stretch along the coastal path. You’ll be treated to nothing but unparalleled views of the English Channel to your left and the distinctive white chalky cliffs up ahead.
This event will be challenging with some serious climbs and descents, but with four distances to choose from there is something for all levels.

Age Requirements
Participants must be aged 13 and over for the Ultra, Middle and Long distance. Participants of all ages can enter the Short race, with under 12's going free. Please note that all under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.

There will be approximately three hydration and nutrition outposts on these routes, provided by Precision Hydration.
Plastic-Free Event
Maverick Race is making every effort to make this season 100% plastic-free. For this reason, there will be no plastic cups at this event, so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle with them to refill at the stations located on the route.
