It was a brilliant event - well organised and friendly. Marshals were fantastic however there maybe should have been a marshal at the top of Loughrigg fell. My husband was up on Loughrigg waiting for me to come through and he mentioned that whilst waiting, there was a lot of runners that were confused about which direction they should be going due to other directional arrows being present for 'The Lap' race so he was having to point them in the right direction.I thought the mandatory kit requirements for the short and medium races were over the top and should be adapted for each race distance and weather conditions as they do in fell races. I don't particularly like the push to download the app. I had a text about photos but can't view unless the app is downloaded. Would have thought they would be on Facebook or website.
