The post race options for food weren’t great - our partners who did the shorter 10km had pizza during their 5 hour wait for us, waited over 90mins to collect it (without being told it would be that long). More food trucks or bigger pizza ovens needed! Also some alcoholic beer options would be nice and maybe even a complimentary food token for finishers

Fab route (the middle route). But we were expecting a second rest stop. None appeared. Not great given the warm weather. Everything else was fantastic, though! Thank you

A well-organised event start to end. Great atmosphere, music, well marked route, great people (well they all seemed alright), the freebies were great too as was the medal design. My only piece of constructive criticism is that for the medium route, the food/drink station was way too early. We needed one after that big hill!

Very confusing what £70 went to apart from renting out the start field. Event marshal at the start said people who were doing the marathon can go up to the ultra if feeling strong…. So what’s the point of paying for the the more expensive event when you can just change on the fly. Marshals said they were all volunteers (who were awesome). No Adidas Terrex team at start point like past events. Pretty much slapped their name on for the sake of it. Why the gate at the start wasn’t open is boggling also. 300 people climbing over a fence 100m into the race. Medal was also pathetic (2 ply wood) with no mention of ultra marathon. Same medals as people who did the 10km. Course and people were decent but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone doing this event for the price. Obviously cost cutting for some reason which is not what I would expect from an Adidas and Maverick event.
