The short and medium routes are perfect for first time trail runners, and will give runners a new adventure to take on as they travel over really flat, easy-to-navigate terrain.
Each mostly flat, and slightly undulating route will start and finish in the event village, trailing through wildlife-rich estuaries, ancient heaths, windswept shingle beaches and historic villages. These mud-flats and creeks of the AONB's estuaries contain wetland sites that are refuges for wildlife like nightjar, woodlark, and rare health butterflies.

Maverick Race's logo
Maverick Race is undoubtedly one of the best trail running organisers in the UK. The company was started down on the Jurassic Coast back in 2013 by Ben and Justin. Since then they’ve delivered events which are guaranteed to take you to some of the most scenic locations in the UK. However, what really separates Maverick is their strive for inclusivity in the outdoors. From 6km entry level runs to 50km ultra marathons, there really is something for everyone. Afterwards you’ll find everyone hanging around, enjoying some fresh pizza, and speaking to like minded people with a shared passion for trail running.

Maverick do a great job, everybody is so welcoming. The track was flat but still tough in parts. Those sandy roads really sap the life out of your legs.Would highly recommend this or another Maverick Race

It was a lovely laid back event. The aid stations were fab, and the course was super well marked; no chance of getting lost! All the marshals were really friendly and enthusiastic. I will definitely do another one.
