What do I need to bring to the Maverick Adidas Terrex X & Snowdonia?
Trail shoes are essential for this type of event - it's very uneven out there! Got to be one of the ultimate UK events to do. Stunning scenery and a great route. Just when you think you are done you go up again. Take food and a coat. 👍

This is the perfect event for those wanting to move from UK trail running into slightly tougher and even more incredible running views. With the different distance options you can run in this amazing place but at the right level for you, then go back the next year and go even further!

This is my favourite trail running event, without exception. Maverick have absolutely nailed the best route with exceptional marking and aid stations. I will keep coming back to this race every year and no one does it better than Maverick!

I did the snowdon marathon This was my first maverick race and wasn’t disappointed the organisation was first rate, support at the aid stations was great I did the marathon route with my two dogs and they were also well looked after at the aid stations I can’t wait to do it again this year with my dogs.

This was the best Trail Marathon I've ever run. The landscape and scenery speak for themsleves but the route was superb with some brutal climbs 'after' summiting Snowdon. The organisation was faultless and freindly and the course markings were the best I've seen for any race. A truly great event.

My first big trip into the high mountains running. Quite simply stunning. Cracking start straight to the top for a warm up, magic descents on gnarly trails back down to the lake and continuous beautiful scenery around the foot of the Mountain and just when you think that's it I have had it, another epic rise and miles of wonderful decent to the finish. Great atmosphere, superb feed stations - all you'll ever need to support you through the Mountains. Epic.

Great fun and really relaxed vibe. They were happy for me to change distance on the day without any hassle. Beer at the end and a fantastic cake and biscuit stall - what’s not to love!

I can't rate it highly enough. The course is stunning and although tough, it's achievable to all who dedicates some time to training. The official photos are amazing (capture you in some breathtaking backdrops) and are free to download. Never had such in-depth conversations with strangers whilst running, you can tell everyone is there for the same thing...the love of the outdoors!
