Terrain: single track, field and woodland trails Elevation: Undulating - Long: +583m, Middle: +359m, Short: +205m
Nestled in the heart of England the Maverick Buckinghamshire Original really delivers on all levels. You will find yourself winding through ancient woodland, steeped in history with incredible views over the surrounding Chiltern Hills AONB. The route starts off by climbing up to Whiteleaf Hill, where you will see the famous white leaf chalk cross, and again stunning views of the surrounding area. A section of the long route takes you to a viewpoint where you can see the famous 16th-century country home of the prime minister “Chequers". Please note, there is no outpost on the Short route.

Please note that all under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Please note; there are no aid stations on the short route.
This will be a plastic-free event, so please be sure to bring your own reusable bottle or cup.

Maverick Race is making every effort to make this season 100% plastic-free. For this reason, there will be no plastic cups at this event, so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle with them to refill at the stations located on the route.
