Route information
The course is undulating throughout and will provide participants with plenty of hills to drift over. There's a large portion of the route that is off-road, so expect to be greeted by plenty of mud if it's a rainy December.
Shoes with a waffle sole are recommended as they tend to be the best for traction.

There is no exact cut-off time, though sweep marshalls will be at the event to ensure that everyone is looked after and all runners are accounted for.
Charities
This year's race beneficiaries are two local charities - Waves, a charity that offers practical help and support to families in the Seahaven area and The Chaseley Trust, a unique charity nursing home specialising in caring for residents with complex neurological disabilities or progressive conditions.
Race Packs and Bag Drop
Race packs will be collected on the day from Race HQ. This is where you’ll pick up your race pack, leave your bag and can ask any last-minute questions.
Entrants who have entered in good time will have their race packs sent in the post 10 days before event day.
Those who have entered in the 10 days before race day will collect their race pack at registration on the day of the event.
If your race pack hasn’t arrived, head to the registration desk at race HQ and you can be issued with a new one.
A full set of race instructions will be sent via email before the event.
Facilities
There are changing areas, toilets and showers at the event.
