Route Type Looped
The race starts and finishes at Bakewell Station and heads along the Monsal Trail to a turnaround point at Miller’s Dale, before returning to Bakewell and the finish. The course is multi terrain, on a mixture of tarmac and hard track, and will take you through three long railway tunnels - note, your GPS device may not work!
The course will be traffic-free but will be used by other Trail users including walkers, dog walkers, horses and cyclists. We ask that all runners keep to the left hand side of the trail, to be aware of, and respect, other trail users and take extra care where the trail narrows.
