The Mount Ephraim 10K route

This accurately-measured course starts within the grounds of Mount Ephraim Gardens and follows the quiet country lanes surrounding the estate.

Runners start and finish at Mount Ephraim Gardens and run a loop in a clockwise direction towards Herne Hill, turning left to Kelmsdale Wood, then right to Fostall and up Butlers Hill to Dargate. Runners then turn right onto Dargate Road and bear right onto Courtenay Road to head back towards Mount Ephraim Gardens along Dawes Road and Staplestreet Road.

FAQs

How do I attach my timing chip?

Your timing chip is incorporated into your race number and should not be removed. Please place the race number on the front of your vest/shirt and not on your leg or back.

How do I attach my race number?

Please attach your race number to the front of your running top or vest using safety pins or clips, securing it on all four corners. Please don’t attach your number to the back of your shirt as it is difficult for our timekeepers and marshals to identify you.

This was my first 10k run after only running for 3 week, so I might of found it tougher than some but it was fun, if you like tarmac hills then you will love this

A challenging hilly course on good roads. Well marshaled. The only negatives are that the last 100m to the finish was partially blocked by those that had already finished running to the car park in the rain. That needs sorting out for next year!! Also the bag drop was not under cover so all the bags ( containing a change of clothes) got soaked... wouldn’t take much to put a gazebo over them. Otherwise an enjoyable race

Really well organised, quite a challenging course, hill training recommended but well worth it for the views
