Athletes have the option to participate in a choice of the events or the ‘Centurion Challenge’ of completing all three.
Mumbles Centurions will swim, bike and run 100k of clear waters, challenging climbs and twisting trails rewarded by views they will never forge.
The Centurion Swim is a 1k loop of the beautiful and calm waters of Langland Bay. Each lap contains 2 x left turns followed by an ‘Aussie Exit’ along Langland Promenade before swimmers re-enter the water for their second lap.
Swimmers will aim to complete two laps of this course. This is a wetsuit compulsory swim.
The course will be fully lifeguarded and inshore rescue boats will also be present to support safety.
The Centurion Sportive will take you along a 78k course of the stunning Gower Peninsular. The course contains over 1000m of combined elevation.
Departing from Mumbles athletes will head along Mumbles Road before turning west and heading out onto Gower.
Helmets are mandatory for all participants and TT/Triathlon bikes or aero bars are not permitted.
The Centurion Run is a 20k mix beach, light trail and costal path that will take you from the start line at Oxwich Bay to the Finish line at Underhill Park, Mumbles.
Although challenging, this run course will be hard matched for views, beauty and that incredible feeling of accomplishment. The course contains over 400m of combined elevation mainly contained to the middle section of the route.
All athletes must carry a mobile phone and have the run course safety team number. Static and running marshals will be present on course.
