The Bushy Christmas 10K & 5K routes

This is a mixed-terrain route, taking athletes across hard track, tarmac and some grass. The route weaves throughout the park, taking in the Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club and the Oval Club as well as a number of picturesque woods and lakes on show.

This is a fast and flat race - great for that end of season PB. The course will be clearly marked out and friendly marshals will be on-site to deal with any issues.

This is a lapped course, with the 5KM race completing it once and the 10KM runners doing it twice.

Really enjoyed the race; well organised; route well marked; helpful staff.
Found the map given in advance confusing as it showed the start in a different position - looked like the parkrun start? Hope to do it again next year!

Lovely race, thank you for organising

A bit of a bumpy start but the rest of the course was amazing. This is basically 2x parkrun for anyone who wants to practice.

Thoroughly enjoyed the event. Will look to do again next year!

Thought the race was very well organised, the volunteers and stewards all cheered you along which was great and were all very helpful. The only feedback for next year would be the start. It was so narrow around the first bend to the main path that many people had to stop and walk. I appreciate that it's in a park and so the grass isn't going to be perfectly flat but the start was also by far the most uneven ground which meant overtaking equalled tripping over. I would just start it on the main path if possible as the rest of the course was great! Apart from that I had a lovely morning, would definately consider doing other ones throughout the year and the medals were amazing. (And the mince pies!)

Good atmosphere and people. Starting section was a little rocky with such a narrow throughfair and very uneven ground. Several people tripped including myself. Not a fan of lap based race courses but it was a great location to have a nice run. Excellent medal and great supporting staff. Many thanks.
