Route information
The NoMad50 mile Ultra follows a multi terrain circular run mainly following Derby Nomad trail around Derbyshire. Starting and finishing in Breaston, M1 Jct 25. Scenic rolling countryside with 605m climb with canal, trail, fields and some road.
All competitors will be required to have a basic level of navigation skill, to help the route is partially marked and for the majority following the Derby NoMad trail which is waymarked in places. Route written instructions, maps and downloadable gpx file of the route available on the webpage. Along the course there will be great support and refreshments / food at 5 checkpoints with a drop bag facility for 50 mile entrants.

NoMad50 mile participants have staggered starts on the hour 6am to 8am depending on estimated finish times. The time limit for the 50mile ultra is 13 hours, as a guide most runners opt for 6am unless estimated finish time for less than 10 hours, 7am for 8-10hrs and 8am for 7-9hrs.
