Route information
This point-to-point Ultra will take you from Llangollen all the way to Newtown, follow the fully way-marked course along the beautiful Montgomery Canal. The Montgomery is one of the most important canals in the whole of Wales for wildlife conservation, so make sure to embrace nature as you run. You will also navigate your way across the stunning Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (the tallest in Britain) to see the countryside below. Make sure to be careful as you navigate along the canal, you wouldn't want to be falling in.

By Car
If travelling from London by car, follow the A4 to the M4, taking the M40, M6 and M54 to A5 in Shropshire. Finally, you can then follow the A5 to Llangollen.

By Train
If travelling from London you can take the Avanti West Coast Service to Crewe where you can take another train to Chester. From Chester take the Transport for Wales service to Shrewsbury, getting off at Ruabon. At Station road in Ruabon you can take the number 5 bus to Llangollen.
