Route information
This marathon constitutes the fifth race in the 2020 Dorset Race League and is et to be a great event. The event has also been chosen to host the Dorset County Championship race for the marathon and is the only road marathon in Dorset.
There will be a cut-off time of 6 1/2 hours and all runners who are on this threshold will be offered to retire, however are more than welcome to finish the race but at their own risk.
If you wish the enter the Dorset County Championship then you must be a specific criteria, which is detailed below:
- Born in Dorset
- Nine months continuous residence in Dorset immediately prior to the date of the race.
- Nine months service in HM Forces stationed in Dorset immediately prior to the date of the race.
- No athlete is allowed to compete in the Championships of more than one County in any one nine month period.
- Nine months continuous residence in Dorset immediately prior to the date of the race.

All race numbers will be collected on the morning of the event. Please aim to arrive at least 45 minutes prior the marathon to ensure there is ample time to complete the registration process.

Spectators are strongly encouraged to come along and cheer runners over the finish line. Afterwards, enjoy the prize-giving ceremony and the post-race after party.
