Stretch your legs after work with this fantastic mid-week 5k. Great for runners of all abilities, the course is a flat loop around the scenic Trout lake. Come for the finish line goody bag or for the chance to record a PB.

The course is two 2.5km laps of the scenic Trout Lake in Colwick Country Park. The course is relatively flat and there should be little to no vehicle traffic.
This course represents a great opportunity for any runner to record their PB.
The race will begin at 19:00.
Please ensure that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race in order to complete the registration process and drop your bags.
Spectators are more than welcome and will be able to cheer the runners on twice as they complete two laps of the course.
If you would like to volunteer, there are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up. Volunteers are offered free entry to a future Nice Work race and, in some cases, expenses are available. If interested, please contact: [email protected]

The race HQ will be next to the Adventure Centre in Colwick Country Park. There is car parking next to the start line but you will have to pay a small fee.
Nottingham railway station is just over 3 miles away from the park, but you can travel from the station to the race by bus; take the Ecolink bus to Manor Farm and the start is a short walk away.
The nearest train station to the park is Netherfield, which is roughly 1 mile away. You can either walk or use the Red Line 44 bus to travel from the station to the park (via the New Vale Road stop).
