Following a successful debut, the Nottingham Winter Series returns again.

The races are flat out and back along the embankment and welcome runners of all standards, including beginners. Part of a four-race series.

You can enter a single race or save money by purchasing a three-race season ticket or a series entry.

What’s Included

There will be a medal and finish line goodies to all finishers at each event.

There are also prizes and trophies for winners and winners of vet categories, plus team prizes and a special series prize for 1st Male and 1st Female. Points scored in each race count towards the overall Series prizes (the first 100 male and female finishers in each race score points), with points awarded for race positions and the best three races to count towards series results.

Raceday Logistics

Let's Do This always recommend that you arrive at least 45 mins before your start time so that you have enough time to both register and prep for the race start.

First Aid:

St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.

Results:

​Points scored in each race count towards overall series prizes, with the best three races to count towards the final series results.

Your individual time and position will be recorded by manual timekeepers. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre, but please allow time for manual processing. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.

Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer to help at any of our events, there are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up. We offer our volunteers a free entry to a future race and, in some cases, expenses are available. If interested, please contact: [email protected]

    I really enjoyed the race, even though conditions were very dark and slippy underfoot. Couldn't fault the organisation but perhaps a little more lighting around the start area would good? Also it would have been good to be advised to wear a headtorch as I didn't anticipate how bad the street lighting would be. I forgot to pick up my medal as I was a bit too excited about my PB.
