You will encounter mud, a water assault course, climbing, crawling and challenging obstacles all the way round – Nuts is guaranteed to be a once in a lifetime experience!

What's included
  • There are 2 water stations. Any contestants doing multiple laps can bring snacks and energy drinks for when they lap back round. These can be left in the Transition area.
  • You will be able to buy food and drinks throughout the day. We have various food vendors.
  • We have onsite medical facilities brought to you by Platinum Ambulances.

Yes, there is plenty of parking at just £5 per car. Please bring cash on the day.
HOW TO FIND US
From London M25 (J9)
Travel south along the A24 for approx 10 minutes passing Boxhill, pass over the A24/A25 (chicken on round about) Dorking roundabout, you’re still heading south up Dorking Hill past Dorking Golf club on the left.
On the brow of hill look for a turn on the left sign posted BlackBrook, turn down this lane past the Royal Oak pub, then on the left you will see the Plough Pub, keep going for approx 3 miles, pass under the Railway Bridge. A few hundred yards after the bridge on the left is the entrance with a yellow/black block and you need to turn into this entrance. If you reach Henfold Lakes you have gone too far.
Trains
Trains run from London Victoria & Waterloo direct to Dorking (approx journey time 45 minutes). They run every 20 minutes. Taxi from Dorking station takes 8 minutes costs roughly £10.00. If you prefer to pre-book call ABBA Taxi 01306 881 008.
Gatwick to Reading train stops at Dorking Deepdene station this is next door to Dorking Main Station. Taxis available from Dorking main station so you will need to walk round the corner.
The Nuts Challenge
You can run for charity or just for fun, the assault course is also available all year round and we run special obstacle race training sessions for the Nuts Challenge. The course is a muddy fun event whatever your level – either 7, 14, 21 or 28k (4x round – our Tough Nuts.. ) See all the levels on the Nuttie Scale Here. Friends, family and children can come along and watch. Dogs are also welcome provided they are on a lead.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU ON THE DAY?
  • A big towel
  • Clothes and footwear to get changed into after the challenge. (A changing marquee is available for your use)
  • 2 bin bags (one for your dirty clothing and trainers and one to double bag it)
  • Photographic ID (photocopies are accepted)
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Cold weather:
  • We recommend base layers, gloves, hat, windproof top and waterproof socks. O
Warm weather:
  • Technical tops and running bottoms made of sports fabrics; though please bear in mind that if you choose to wear shorts this may result in grazed and cut knees, similarly if you wear t-shirts expect your arms to get grazed and cut too.
Footwear:
  • Trainers (Please make sure your laces are tied tightly as they will get sucked off in the mud).
NO SPIKES OR STUDDED SHOES! IF YOU WEAR THESE YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN.
