The race is ideal for those new to running or anyone looking to get the New Year off to a flying start. The route follows a scenic course around the gently undulating wide, quiet country lanes in and around the pretty Norhamptonshire villages surrounding Oundle.

The race is a fundraiser for Oundle Primary School organised by Nice Work.

FAQs

How do I attach my timing chip?

Your timing chip is incorporated into your race number and should not be removed. Please place the race number on the front of your vest/shirt and not on your leg or back.

How do I attach my race number?

Please attach your race number to the front of your running top or vest using safety pins or clips, securing it on all four corners. Please don’t attach your number to the back of your shirt as it is difficult for our timekeepers and marshals to identify you.

This was a good fast course. For it being its first run it was very well organised. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

A well organised and very friendly event - and the first of the year for many of the enthusiastic runners. A good start and finish point with good facilities and some great marshals. Certainly one to repeat - Many thanks to all concerned and good luck.

Parking was limited at the venue, but there was plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding neighbourhood. Registration was well organised and efficiently run. The course was a two lap race with a good mixture of hills and flats., made more challenging by the stiff breeze on the day. It was well marshalled by an enthusiastic team of volunteers and the finish area was well supported with water and snacks for all runners. The presentation and prize giving was done quite quickly after the race and rewarded a number of age group runners. My overall opinion of the event is would I do it again. Yes, definitely.

Fantastic scenery, great route for running, tremendous vibe - all staged by the best race team in the business. Plus the Primary School benefits as well. What's not to keep us coming back each year? No wonder it sells out in a flash.Sir

A good run to start the year.....bracing but dry conditions. Everyone we encountered was friendly and the course easy to negotiate being two laps of a 5k square on the village outskirts. We would consider repeating the exercise in 2020. Thanks to the organisers for a smooth operation.
