Route information
The Tissington Trail is the second instalment of Nice Work's three-part Peak District Series. Those who have complete in all three events will have run 26.2 miles and receive a Commemorative Peak District Marathon Weekend Medal.
All three events will feature a Peak District Chip Timed Mile event, which is open to juniors and adults alike.

**The Tissington Trail is a fantastic route that tracks along a disused railway line spanning from Ashbourne to Buxton. After 5 miles, the course doubles back for a downhill finish through that takes in all the beauty of rural Derbyshire.
Coach transport will ferry athletes to the start point in Parsley, with runners making their way back along the trail to finish.

Car:** There is extensive car parking available within Ashbourne Town Centre, as well as a small car park at the Leisure Centre itself.
Bus: Services run from Derby to Ashbourne Leisure Centre.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the race begins, to allow plenty of time for any travel issues and the completion of the registration process.

No, each race can be entered individually. However, to obtain a Peak District Marathon Weekend Medal, you must enter and completed all three events within the series.
