Route information

This race aims to raise money for Shelter, whose mission is to help solve the current housing crisis in the UK. Every day, 110 families in England become homeless and Shelter is working tirelessly to help solve this growing issue.

Fundraising is completely optional and there is no minimum target. Any money raised - big or small - will be deeply appreciated.

The River Nene runs around the circumference of this beautiful parkland and athletes will experience a number of water features during the race. The course i a 5KM loop, with runners coasting along the waters age of Overton Lake and then back along the perimeter of the river itself.

Car:** The above postcode will take you to Ferry Meadows Car Park. There are parking charges in place - approximately £5 for 4 hours.

Train: There are two railways stations within close proximity: Ferry Meadows and Orton Mere.

Bus: There are bus stops on Oundle Road and Wistow Way which are around a 15-20 minute walk to the park's visitor information centre.

Can I register on the day of the event?

On-the-day registration is subject to availability. Please refer to the website on the days leading up to the race to see if it is sold out.

When do I receive my race pack?

Race numbers and details will be emailed to entrants. However, race packs themselves must be collected on the day of the event.

Am I able to enter a team?

Team entries are allowed; each person will still receive their own time and teams do not have to run together. However, it is always a good bit of fun to have a team name and race with friends or family.
