It was unclear regarding team prizes in the overall race. Not sure these were announced. Overall an excellent event.

I found it to be quite a tough course due to it being flattish You want to run faster. I was pleased with my time for the course. It was well marshalled and I had no problem following the route . My wife also did the event winning the 70+ category. She also enjoyed it and found it to be most rewarding with a friendly atmosphere. We both will do it again. Thank you.

The registration process was smooth and easy to locate race HQ so no stress prior to racing. The weather was kind to the runners this year with the sun shining although there was a bitterly cold wind. Not much indoor shelter for the runners prior to race so things may have felt different if it had been raining. No problems queuing for start of the race and easy to follow the well marshalled course. 'Out and back' race and flat so certainly potential for quick times albeit it's always likely to be windy along the coastline.

A bit of confusion with the race leaders coming back from the turn, with some running to the right of the oncoming field, other running to the left.

Fairly tough going as there was a strong headwind for the outward five-miles and the temperature didn't get above freezing point. Should have done more training as this was the first time I had more than six miles since last year. But as pone ages it is a fine balance between overdoing the training and saving something for race day.Was very surprised at the considerable number of runners wearing headphones despite this being clearly stated as against the rules - and nothing was done to alert the, stop them or penalise them. Why have (quite sensible) rules if they are not enforced.?Most impressed by the first-aiders and St John people who paid close attention to the welfare of runners at the finishing line. Very caring and attentive.

Great route, really well organised event, and thoroughly enjoyed the race. Headwind in first five mile was tough going, but the last five was fast and sprint to the finish! Ill b back next year

Just short of a PB, which is a real positive given a spring Marathon training camp

Everything apart from one personal issue arose for me. I was upset that as I came second in my age group, I wasn't eligible for a prize despite me having an age grade result of 73% :(
