For this unique challenge you have the choice of where you start, how far you choose to run and how you make your way to other locations. There are 6 starting options for your challenge:
  • CheckPoint 1: Ham Street Riverside
  • CheckPoint 2: Kingston Bridge
  • CheckPoint 3: Teddington Bridge
  • CheckPoint 4: Twickenham
  • CheckPoint 5: Richmond Green
  • CheckPoint 6: Richmond Park East Sheen
This unique course structure has 6 checkpoints around Richmond and participants have a maximum of 5 hours to run. Participants can choose to start and finish their event at any checkpoint and can run to one, two or all of the checkpoints.
Distances completed will range between 5k and a Half Marathon, depending on how many checkpoints you reach, and that is completely up to you! If you complete all the full loop and all the checkpoints it will be approximately a Half Marathon.
The course is a mix of path, road, and trail running. With both flat and undulating sections this challenge is as hard as you make it.
Live results will be available during the race as each runner will scan a QR code on their phone at each checkpoint. Times and distances will then be uploaded so you can check out how you're doing on the live leaderboard.

By Car
Richmond can be accessed from the A316 or the A205, and within comfortable range for anyone coming from London.
Parking
Parking is available around all checkpoints. Please not that some of these is free parking and some is Pay and Display.
By Train
There are various train and tube stations in and around Richmond, allowing runners to start and finish at a variety of CheckPoints if they wish.

Registration
Entry confirmation will be sent out via email, or within your user profile. This will include all relevant event information and exact locations for the Checkpoints.
You will need access to this on challenge day so please use your phone to check in. Each runner will receive a CheckPoint armband to identify you, so please wear this during the event.
CheckPoint Check In
There will be a marshal at every CheckPoint. The team will have the CheckPoint Challenge signs with QR codes and will be wearing either a marshal jacket or CheckPoint Challenge armband. Exact locations will be sent out prior to the event.
Medals
Every runner receives a medal and a challenger armband at each location. You can collect the full set by completing all 6 CheckPoints.
How far do I have to run during The Richmond SUPER 6 CheckPoint Run Challenge?
You can choose how far to run and how many CheckPoints you want to reach. Distances will be approximately 5k, 10k, 15k or 20k.
