Finish Line Logistics
The timing chip inside your number will record your race time as you cross the line. Make certain that you run over the mat at the finish funnel, this will ensure that your chip is registered.
Once you have crossed the finish line, don’t stop, keep moving to the end of the funnels; stay in the exact order in which you have finished.
Please don’t get ahead of anyone in the finish funnels. This is very important for accurate timing and placing. If someone gets in front of you, politely ask them to go back, they may not only get your hard-earned place and time, but they may also mess the whole results up.

Good event, well organised, shame there was no tee shirt this year. Would definitely do again if a tee shirt is included.

One of the best half marathons I have run. The views along the route are amazing! Well organised and the crowds were amazing. It is quite a flat terrain so perfect for PB. The fact that the race photos were free just made my day too as I was there on my own-with no one to be able to take photos of me.

Did the Half Marathon in 2021
I'm personally not a fan of very flat courses with long straights and I wasn't really fit enough to race a half marathon but, having said that, the organisation, the pre-race info/emails, race start and finish and marshalling was fantastic. It was so lovely to be back in a race environment again after the past couple of years. Well done to all involved. I would highly recommend this race to anyone looking for a fast flat half.

Great flat course with lovely scenery 75% of the time. A little bit of next to the road running but other then that quite nice. Most runners were very focused so great for a PB but perhaps not for a fun first time half? Lovely organisers, Marshall and weather!

I think you should give a ticket especially paying for such a lot of money. I felt cheated by not having a T-shirt. Otherwise rest was OK and I got my PB cause course was good.

Very good race. The only downside is part of the race is by the road, close to the cars. But the organisation had a lot of voluntary people supporting us. Thanks team!!

This was my first time competing in a road race event and I couldn’t fault the organisation. Spectacular course and perfect weather conditions.

Great. A really enjoyable half marathon. Certain parts of the course a little tricky. GPS gets lost under bridge and in trees but lovely run.

Well organised event, course pretty much follows the Thames down to Hampton court and back. this makes it a dead flat rout (with the slight exception of the 2 bridges).
