Finish Line Logistics
The timing chip inside your number will record your race time as you cross the line. Make certain that you run over the matting in the finish funnel, this will ensure that your chip is registered.
Once you have crossed the finish line, don’t stop, keep moving to the end of the funnels; stay in the exact order in which you have finished.
Please don’t get ahead of anyone in the finish funnels. This is very important for accurate timing and placing. If someone gets in front of you, politely ask them to go back, they may not only get your hard earned place and time, but they may also mess the whole results up.

Well organised event, course pretty much follows the Thames down to Hampton court and back. this makes it a dead flat rout (with the slight exception of the 2 bridges).

Second time running this race and really enjoyed it again. Good organisation and a nice course. Only negative for me was the lack of water available and in very small half filled cups

It was helpful to be able to get the chip & number well ahead of race day to avoid queuing. Also good to arrive early on the day thanks to the little cale shop on the corner for opening for coffee!
