Race around Rye with this undulating 10 or 5 mile run. Great for novices and veterans alike, the course presents a few challenging climbs and tracks through the picturesque Sussex countryside. Come to start summer on the front foot or for the stunning landscape.

Route description
Both runs take place on the picturesque rural roads surrounding Peamarsh and Rye. The course will start and finish at Jempson's supermarket.
The 10 Mile race goes out for 3.5 miles and the starts a 3 mile loop through the stunning countryside, before rejoining the original 3.5 mile track and heading back to the finish line.
This challenging course does include some formidable climbs, but they will be well worth it for the fantastic scenery around.
The course will be marshalled throughout and clearly distance marked.

Start Waves
The event will operate on a start wave system, with a maximum of 12 runners being set off in 3-minute slots. The first start time is 8am and the last is 10am.
Entrants will be allocated their start times which is decided from their estimated finish time.
Race Packs
Race packs will be sent out to entrants who have entered in good time. If you entered close to the race date, you will need to pick up your race pack on the day.
Age Requirements
Entrants must be 16 and older to enter the 5 mile race, and 17 and older to enter the 10 mile race.
Nice work are always on the lookout for volunteers to help out with their events. There are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up.

There will be ample on site parking for those wishing to drive to the event.
By Train
The nearest train station is Rye (Sussex), which is served by Southern Trains from Ashford International, Brighton and Hastings.
You will need to cycle or take a taxi from the station to the race start as there is no bus service operating to Peasmarsh on Sundays.
It is recommended that entrants pre-book a taxi service as they are not always readily available outside the station.
