There is a huge variety of events on offer at the Scottish Autumn Festival of Sports.
If you're looking for a real challenge, there's a full marathon that sweeps participants through the stunning Scottish surroundings.
There's also a shorter 10k time trial multi-terrain race which takes participants through the beautiful cairngorms as they tackle varied paths along the way.
If you're looking for a more related alternative, the 5k multi-terrain fun run is enough to get the pulse racing but can be taken at a more leisurely pace. Bring your furry friend along too, dogs are very much encouraged.
The 50k charity bike time trial is also a great option for keen bikers that want to push themselves to the limit.
The Duathlon comprises a tough 50k cycle and 25k road run so be prepared to get stuck into what is a worthy challenge for all.
The 100k bike time trial provides another great way to explore the Cairngorms.
The festival Half Marathon is a great tester with plenty of beautiful kilometres to breeze through.
The 10k road race is open to those aged 14 or over and there are medals and celebratory gifts for all.
Lastly, the 2k multi-terrain race is ideal for the youngsters, with a generous 10-year-old entry, get involved in this exciting challenge which will take you through grass and estate tracks.
  • Please note that all road races (50k Bike / 100k Bike, Half Marathon & Full, plus 10k) will be hilly as participants are swept through beautiful Scottish countryside.

By Car
Take the A9 past Perth and follow up towards Blair Castle. Turn off at the B8079 to reach the event.
Parking
There will be free parking available at the event site, with one car pass for each entrant.

Race Packs
Race packs will be sent to participants by the 1st of September, your number will be collected from the race office on site.
The race office will be clearly marked.
Medals
All participants in the 5k multi-terrain, 10k road race, 2k multi-terrain races will receive an awesome custom medal.
Participants in all other races will not receive a medal.
Prizes
There will be prizes for the top 5 male and female participants in all events.
Those finishing in the full marathon will receive prizes ranging from £1200 - £800.
Those in the top 5 for the 10k time trail will receive prize money ranging from £1000 - £125.
Those in the top 5 for the 50k time trial will win prize money ranging from £1000 to £125.
Those in the Duathlon will receive prize money ranging from £2000 - £250.
Those in the top 5 for the 100k can get prize money from £1000 - £750.
Those in the Half Marathon top 5 will win prize money ranging from £600 - £100.
In the 10k road race, prizes will be awarded to the best male and female as well as the best boys and girls in the categories: 14-15, 15-16, 16-17.
The 2k has a best boy and girl prize for those aged 10-13, 14-15, 16-17 and 18 or over.
Charities
Those who are entering on behalf of the event's chosen charity (Make a Wish Foundation) will benefit from lower entry fees but must commit to a minimum sponsorship fundraising of £100 per participant.
Dogs
Dogs can take part in the 5k fun run but must be kept on a lead at all times.
FAQs
What age to I have to be to compete in events at The Scottish Autumn Festival of Sport?
You must be 18 years of age to enter the Marathon, Duathlon & 2k Multi-Terrain events and at least 16 to enter the half marathon or 100k bike. All other events require participants to be aged at least 14 year old and 10 years old unless they're competing in the 5k. In that case, anyone of any age can get stuck in.

Can participants win prizes at The Scottish Autumn Festival of Sport?
They can indeed, there will be prizes for the top 5 male and female participants in all events aside from the 10k road race where the best male, female and best boys and girls from (14-15) going up until the age of 17. The 2k has a best boy and girl prize for those aged 10-13, 14-15, 16-17 and 18 or over.
