The Scrooge: 7miles of muddy trails and Christmas fun.The “Rattler Cyder” Scrooge – 7 miles of muddy trail running and festive fancy dress mayhem followed by the infamous MudCrew Christmas Party.The Scrooge is by no means an event for the faint-hearted! After all, external heat and cold had little influence on Scrooge. No warmth could warm, no wintry weather chill him. No wind that blew was bitterer than he, no falling snow was more intent upon its purpose, no pelting rain less open to entreaty. Foul weather didn’t know where to have him!So, you will need to dress up well (fancy dress…we hope) and tough out these 7 miles. It’s muddy, wet and fun and very MudCrew. The perfect pre-Christmas mud fest.Although Scrooge was a tight-fisted hand at the grindstone, a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous old sinner, here at MudCrew we’re a little more kind-hearted. Should you conquer the 7 miles of mud and water, we’ll welcome you back to start your Christmas festivities with a free pint of Rattler Cider and a mince pie. We also like to help our friends down at the Children’s Hospice, so part of the money raised at the event will make sure we don’t send them some humbugs… but more a bag of gold coins.The Scrooge by MudCrew.
