Meet Time 8:15 am
Run Start Time: 8:30 am
Pace
It is advisable that you would have run at least 7 miles in one continuous run-in training prior to entering this event and you should be able to comfortably run an average pace of 12 min/miles - 7:30 min/km for sustained periods of time and have an appropriate level of fitness for the event.
What to wear and bring?
• Worn in trail running shoes (Recommended)
• Waterproof jacket (Weather dependent)
• Foil blanket or survival bag (COMPULSORY)
• Basic medical supplies
• Hat and gloves if cold
• Spare top if cold
• Phone with a full charge
• Any food or gels you may need on the run
• Water, I recommend you bring at least 1litre
• Cash or Card
We will Hopefully have an opportunity to take a short pitstop to replenish any supplies at around the half-way point of the run but this is dependant of the local village shop opening times.
