This running tour led by an gin-loving guide will take you through the gins & outs of London's historic gin scene. As you pass key landmarks, you will travel through time and history to unravel over 3000 years of fact, fiction, and fervor that surround London's gin-related history. After the run, rest & relax with a well-deserved G&T in the gin room of a historic London pub, knowing you are now a certified GINius.
This event makes up part of a larger series across a number of dates from March to October. Please note: this is a casual run and not a race. There are three different paces to choose from which are detailed below:
Half Walk/Half Run (mixing up intervals of gentle jogging with walking)
Steady (if you're comfortable running 10k in 10 - 12 minute miles)
Speedy (if you're comfortable running 10k in 10 minute miles and under)

Each speed falls across different dates throughout the year, so if you can't find the one you're looking for then be sure to check out another date.

18:30 - Run-walk Tour Starts
Meet at Ye Olde Cocke Tavern on Fleet Street at least 10 minutes before your scheduled run time. There will be bag drop available.
Spectator Info
Given this is a guided tour on open roads and pathways it is not suitable for spectators. However, if you have family and friends that would like to join after the race then please feel free to invite them down, or better yet - sign them up too.

Should I be worried about the pace of the run at the London Gin Run?
Secret Runs London knows that not everyone enjoys their runs at the same speed and so have created the same run with three different speeds to cater for runners of all types. Choose between the Walk/Run pace, which is half walking and half gentle jogging, Steady, for those comfortable running 10k in 10-12 minute miles, and Speedy which is designed for those comfortable running 10k in 10 minute miles or less. There will also be stops for breathers, interesting facts, and awesome games along the way.
How many people are there usually on a Secret London Gin Run?
There are usually about 15 people on each run so grab a bunch of friends and head out for a gindulgent time.
Is there somewhere I can leave my bag during the London Gin Run?
Yes, there will be a bag check provided when you get to the starting location at Ye Olde Cocke Tavern.
The pace that I wan't isn't available on this date, will there be other dates?
Of course, this event runs from March to October with the various speeds offered throughout that time. If your preferred speed isn't available on this day, be sure to check out another date for this event.
