Route Type Looped
This is a looped course which spans through the naturally undulating trails within Sherwood Pines. Once part of the ancient Sherwood Forest, the park is the largest of its kind in the East Midlands.
Throughout the race, runners will make their way along dirt tracks flanked by the towering woodland.
10k athletes will complete the trail twice, with 5k runners doing it once.

There will be parking at the event, and the fee is included in the cost of your ticket.
By Car
Sherwood Pines is located in the Heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, on the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone.
Public Transport
Take the number 14 or 15 to Kirton or Walesby from Mansfield bus station. Buses run every half hour Monday-Saturday and every hour on Sundays.
Event day logistics
10:00 10k & 5k start
It is recommended you arrive at least 45 minutes before the race begins, to allow plenty of time for any travel issues and the completion of the registration process.
Age Requirements
Runners must be 11 and older to enter the 5k and 15 and older to enter the 10k.
Race Packs
Entrants who have entered in good time will have their race packs sent in the post 10 days before event day.
Those who have entered in the 10 days before race day will collect their race pack at registration on the day of the event.
If your race pack hasn’t arrived, head to the registration desk at race HQ and you can be issued with a new one.
A full set of race instructions will be sent via email before the event.
Bag Drop
There will be a bag drop at this event. However, participants are advised to keep there valuable belongings in their car, or with a friend.
