The course was lovely - but a lack of marking or marshalling at spots where it was difficult to find the right way made it less enjoyable. Although the route was available on an app, the app kept stopping on my phone, and others also experienced issues with the apps response time and lag. The atmosphere at the start and finish was very subdued... no music, no cheering,.. the start was almost a non-event, the finish was made better by the companionship of the 4 ladies I met while walking.

Really great experience, met lots of like minded women. Route could have been slightly more picturesque as lots of nettle filled paths! More markers needed too as the app wasn't clear. Would definitely do it again though

Was really well organised, the only improvement is there could have been more sign posts for directions.

Great course and support from marshalls. Good extra water provision in the heat and the finish area was fantastic. Route not waymarked though and only digital directions provided, which was a little awkward. Would also have been nice to have some snacks at the halfway point

The course was lovely, no one said when it was starting. I was aware of the 9-11 staggered start but we turned around and noticed people were walking. Not enough marshals in the right places and no real cheering, encouraging trekkers. When we arrived at the finish it was quite anti climax, would have been nice to have some music at the start and end. Burgers weren’t ready when we got to the end. Met some friendly people on route, will likely to come back next year
